Oliver - Goldendoodle Puppy for Sale in Butler, OH
Meet Oliver. He is a 1st generation (F1) Goldendoodle that was born on Oct. 26th. He and his siblings will be ready to go home just before Christmas – by Dec. 21st. Oliver comes from a 58 lb. mom (golden retriever) and a 44 lb. dad (red standard poodle). Based on past litters, the puppies end up being on the large side – around 50 to 55 lbs. – when they are full grown, but that is always uncertain, so a specific predicted weight as an adult would be impossible to say with accuracy. Both the parents, as well as the babies, live in our house, and the babies have been held from day one and have a very nice, friendly personality and seek companionship and attention. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask!! If you have a Facebook account, find me on there under Carol's Precious Pups to see some of my reviews and former puppies.
The Goldendoodle sprung into popularity in the 1990’s. These gentle giants are affectionate, intelligent socialites. Their life span is generally 12-15 years. The Goldendoodle is highly trainable and often trained as guide dogs, service dogs, therapy dogs, and sniffer dogs. They are not, however, suitable as guard or watch dogs because of their lack of aggressiveness. The Goldendoodle makes a wonderful family pet. They are non- to light shedders and a possible match for those with allergies. They should be brushed at least a couple times a week and most people opt to keep them clipped in a shorter cut.
